After launching its new MediaPad M3 Lite 10, Chinese manufacturer Huawei has introduced the new variant in its MediaPad lineup. The new MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 tablet has announced for the China market but there are no details about pricing or availability details.

The new MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 is being marketed as an entertainment device, it has Harman Kardon tuned speakers. The launch was first reported by online publication Helpix and it says that Huawei has brought LTE and Wi-Fi versions of the tablet into the market.

There is a lot of similarities in both the MediaPad M3 Lite tablets such as they both are powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) processor. The MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 will be available in different storage combinations such as 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has 4800mAh battery which gives decent backup. Coming to its display it has 8-inch full HD 1920×1200 pixels resolution IPS Display. It supports LTE Cat with 4 Download speeds.

MediaPad M3 Lite 8 measures 213.3×123.3×7.5mm and weights 310 grams. Coming to its camera there are two 8MP cameras. One at the front and another at the back side.

Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 runs on EMUI 5.1 which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. And includes software enhancements like View to Multitask, which offers split-screen multitasking; Control at the touch, for gesture-based functions; Kid’s Nook, comes preloaded with some kids-specific apps; Baby your eyes, for the reading mode.
