Mercedes-Benz is one of the luxury car manufacturers in India. The new car Mercedes AMG E43 sits in the bottom of E-Class AMG range.
Mercedes AMG E43 Performance:
The AMG E43 is powered by the 3.0-litre V6 engine it can deliver 406 PS. it has twin-turbo with upgraded software systems. 520 Nm is its Maximum torque. The company claims that Mercedes AMG E43 reach 100KMPH in just 4.6 seconds, and restricted to 250KMPH top speed.
The Mercedes AMG E43 has an energetic V6 engine. Gear shifts on the 9-speed automatic are quicker. Coming to manual transmission it has paddle shifts behind the steering wheel to control the gear manually, The AMG E43 has 5 driving modes that to control the car behavior — Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sports Plus, and Individual. Eco mode reduces the performance and enhances fuel efficiency. In Sport and Sports Plus, engine idle speed increases to enable accelerate quicker. The Mercedes AMG E43 has improved air suspension system called ‘Air Body Control’ for good agility and stability.

The E43 feels bit stiff, do not expect more comfort from the standard E-Class. The E43 is stable at high speeds. The steering is also tuned to deliver more exactness and weight worthy of a sports car and especially quite direct in Sports mode. The E43 comes with sticky tyres, it has 245/35 front and 275/30 rear tyres. These low-profile tyres will be offered on India-spec cars though it means ride quality may get harsher.
Coming to exterior it has the front bumper with the 3 massive vents to feed air to the intercoolers, a diamond grille, sportier AMG wheels, the spoiler lip on the rear boot and the quad tailpipes that are in line with the cosmetic upgrades generally seen on AMGs. The E43 will also be the only standard-wheelbase version of the E-Class you will get in India since Mercedes-Benz only offers the E-Class sedan in the long wheelbase version. What it loses in length and poise it gains in muscle and sheer road presence.
The Mercedes AMG E43 price close to the Rs 1 crore. It would be a good bargain but let’s wait and see what Mercedes-Benz has to say about that.
