PM Modi helped Bibi Sara to get an education loan to complete her MBA


PM Narendra Modi helped Bibi Sara to get an education loan to complete her MBA under ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ scheme. And he proved that the existence of schemes not for name sake.

Bibi Sara, a resident of Mandya, Karnataka has realized that her MBA degree will remain unfulfilled of being poor. She did something that every struggling student don’t even think of. She had written a letter to PM, seeking financial help. Had been granted loan under the scheme ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’. Has praising Prime Minister’s efforts, Sara said she was sure Modi would respond to her letter and provide financial help.

With lots of gratitude Ms Bibi Sara said “I know that Modi sir would respond to my letter but did not expected to be so early (in ten days). Inspite of being a central leader, Mr Modi is attached to all sections of the society all over the country,” she said.

According to media “We had applied for education loan, but the bank refused in spite of my good marks,” She said. “The bank was unsure about how my father, who has working in sugar factory will pay back the loan.”

While, Sara’s father had not received his salary for eight months, reports TOI. Stuck in the financial crisis, the last day to pay the course fee was drawing closer. At this point, Sara reached out to the prime minister for help.

The very day she received the letter, Vijaya Bank sanctioned an education loan of Rs 1.5 lakh to Sara.

Meanwhile, the PMO has directed Karnataka Chief Secretary to inquire why the bank denied the loan. The Bank’s Branch Manager clarified that they were instructed not to sanction any additional loans because of the loan recovery season.
