The TVS Apache RTR 200 is the flagship offering from the two-wheeler giant.TVS made enthusiasts wait for a long time for the bigger displacement Apache but the wait was worth it. The styling is chiseled and sharp while maintaining the design DNA of the Apache family and is a good looking motorcycle. The Apache RTR 200 also sporting LED DRLs and an all-digital instrument cluster with a lap timer and top speed recorder being the standout features. The new Apache RTR 200 motorcycle has been priced at Rs 89,457 for the base variant and competes against the Yamaha FZ 25 and the new Bajaj Pulsar NS200.

TVS is offered it’s new motorcycle in two engine variants – carburetor and fuel injection. Talking about power, the new TVS bike delivers 20PS for the carb variant and the FI variant produces marginally more power at 21PS. The Apache RTR 200 is also the first TVS motorcycle to get 4 valves. The RTR200 also gets two tire options – TVS tires are standard and Pirelli tires are optional. With a mileage figure of between 40 and 45kmpl in Indian road conditions which is really impressive for a 200cc motorcycle. The Apache RTR 200 is a good option as a urban commuter and the supple ride quality makes it a good touring option as well.
